“Her name is Sheillah. I lost her. She was my roommate and my best friend so I shared a lot with her. We shared a lot and I can’t believe she is gone. She drowned in a swimming pool. The last conversation we had was on June 3rd. She asked if I could drop-off her swimming costume when I go to work that evening. And so I passed by her boss’ house and handed her swim clothes. That was the last time I saw Sheillah. I called her the whole night that Wednesday but her phone was ringing but never picked. Her boss came to our house Thursday morning to tell me the bad news. Sheillah was rushed to the hospital unconscious. She fought for her life, I know that. But she has lost a lot of oxygen in her brain. Sometimes I just wish it was a dream. If only I had the chance to save her. I would save her with my life. I love her, but God loved her more.”
